How to Set Up Login and Sign-Up Options for Your App?

This article will show you how to set everything up in the Taptiq Admin to make onboarding easier and improve your users' experience.

Go to App Users → Login Options in the Taptiq Admin. Here, you can control different settings related to user registration and login.

Enable the toggle Manually approve new users if you want to check new registrations before users can access the app. It is useful for private events, internal apps, or closed communities where you want to control who can join. When this setting is enabled:

• The app owner will receive an email notification when a new user registers.

• To approve the user, go to App Users → Users List.
• In the Status dropdown, change Pending Approval to Active.

Now, this user can log in.

Under Available Login/Sign-Up Methods, you can choose how users can register and log in to your app.

For example, you can allow users to sign in:

• By email
• Using Google
• Using LinkedIn

Adding popular login methods makes registration faster and more convenient for your attendees.

In the Error Messages Text section, you can set the messages users will see in case of login errors.

For example:

• Incorrect login or password.
• User is blocked.
• User is pending approval.

It helps you provide clear instructions if users have trouble logging in.

In the Registration Email field, you can edit the message users receive after signing up. This email usually asks them to confirm their email to complete registration. Customize the text to match your event style or add extra instructions.
